  • Easy to model, non-sticky consistency
  • Insensitive to surgical lighting
  • Quickly and easily polished
  • Natural fluorescence
  • Reduces shrinkage due to pre-polymerised particles
  • Simplicity in choice of colour

Nano-Hybrid Universal Composite
Owing to its optimized particle distribution, BRILLIANT NG is indicated both for the anterior region with its high aesthetic demands such as polish and finish and for the posterior region with its extraordinary resistance to the forces of chewing and abrasion. Indications: direct, semidirect and indirect restorations (veneers or inlays).

Enamel and Dentine Shade Natural Layering Technique
Both shades mimic the colour, opacity and fluorescence of natural tissues. Applied in two layers (dentine and enamel), they imitate the tooth's internal structure and ensure lasting natural aesthetics.

Natural Fluorescence
The shades Dentine and Enamel provide different fluorescent characteristics based on the natural fluorescence of tissues to guarantee perfect aesthetics even under fluorescent or ultra-violet light.

Outstanding Handling Characteristics
The inclusion of nano-particles and pre-polymerised particles achieves an optimum particle size distribution. This is what makes BRILLIANT NG a product which is easy to manipulate and model, and which is not sticky.

Quickly and Easily Polished and Finished
Polishing and finishing BRILLIANT NG is easy and needs less clinical time. It brings extraordinary results to shine and durability

BRILLIANT NG is a universal composite aimed at simplifying the technique of application, achieving excellent aesthetic results.

Its pre-polymerised particle filling, in addition to high nanometric particle content, produce optimum consistency for manipulation and modelling along with a noticeable decrease in shrinkage and easily achievable high gloss surfaces. Its Duo Shade system allows it to obtain two shades from the same syringe, simplifying the selection of colour and inventory of syringes.

Instructions for use EN
Definition

BRILLIANT NG is a syringeable, sculptable,
radiopaque, highly filled nano hybrid composite for the restoration of all teeth. The
optimally adjusted shade system of
BRILLIANT NG provides two Vita shades in
one syringe.

BRILLIANT NG is cured in a tooth cavity or
on a model with all common halogen- or
LED lights (e.g. COLTENE COLTOLUX LED).
Composition
Methacrylates
Dental glass
Amorphous silica
Technical Data
Average filler particle size: 0.6 μm
Range of particle size: 0.01–2.5 μm
Filler content by volume: 65%
Filler content by weight: 80%
Indications

BRILLIANT NG is indicated for:

• direct filling of class I, II, III, IV, and V cavities (details see below)
• repair of composite/ ceramic veneers
• blocking out of undercuts
• adhesive cementation of ceramic and
composite restorations

BRILLIANT NG Dentin is specifically indicated for:
• direct filling of opaque teeth
• direct class V fillings

BRILLIANT NG Enamel is specifically indicated for:
• direct filling of all teeth
• more translucent material with the layering technique

BRILLIANT NG Bleach is specifically indicated for:
• restoration of whitened teeth
• restoration of deciduous teeth
• characterization of chalk spots
• masking of discolored teeth

BRILLIANT NG Transparent is specifically indicated for:
• translucent surface layers in all classes
• reconstruction of incisal edges
• shape and color corrections to improve
esthetics
• more translucent material with the layering technique
Contra-indications
If the site cannot be isolated after enamel
etching, during application, and curing of

BRILLIANT NG. If allergies exist to the components of BRILLIANT NG. If oral hygiene is
poor.
Side effects
No systemic side effects are known. Contact allergies with products of similar composition have been reported in isolated
cases.
Interactions with other agents
Agents which contain eugenol and/or oil
of cloves may affect the polymerization of
BRILLIANT NG. The use of zinc-oxideeugenol cements in combination with
BRILLIANT NG should therefore be avoided.
Discolorations may occur when using cationic mouth rinses, plaque indicators or
chlorhexidine.

Application
Cleansing the tooth
The tooth to be treated and the adjacent
teeth are cleansed using a brush and prophy-paste which does not contain fluoride.
Selection of shade
Select shades before isolation. Ideally, the
shade is determined in broad daylight using the BRILLIANT NG Shade Guide. Shades
are identical to those of the shade guide
only 24 hours after curing.
Isolation of the cavity (rubber dam)
Adequate isolation is absolutely necessary
for achieving optimum results. The use of
HYGENIC/ROEKO Dental Dam is recommended.
Preparation of the cavity
When preparing the cavity, every effort
should be made to use a technique that is
gentle to the tooth substance (principle of
Adhesive Restoration Technique). Prepare
the enamel and dentine using 80  μm
preparation diamonds and finish using
25 μm finishing diamonds. Bevelled enamel margins are recommended to increase
the area of adhesion between tooth and
filling material, thereby optimizing marginal seal.
Pulp Protection
Covering the areas close to the pulp with
hard-setting calcium hydroxide cements
using the spot technique will provide protection of the pulp against bacterial infiltration.
Bonding system
Use ONE COAT BOND SL according to the
corresponding instructions for use.
Matrix and interdental wedges
Apply a thin matrix band for class II, III and
IV restorations. Fix the matrix proximally
using interdental wedges.

Application
Dose BRILLIANT NG directly onto the mixing pad, take up in small increments with
COLTENE Composite Instruments or any
other application instrument, and apply to
the cavity.
Working time

BRILLIANT NG is photosensitive, and
should not be exposed to light too long, in
particular to the operating light or sunlight. If possible, protect exposed
BRILLIANT NG material by means of light
opaque covering (not blue).
Polymerization
BRILLIANT NG can be cured using all common halogen- or LED lights (e.g. COLTOLUX LED
